Cancellation, changes and refunds

Last updated: 24 October 2026Version: 0.1

Draft document. The percentages, deadlines and deductions are not filled in: they are published only after the travel partner's terms are received and reviewed by a lawyer.

What happens if the trip is cancelled by the participant or the organiser, or if a flight or the programme changes. For each case the procedure is set out, together with what still has to be confirmed.

Status of this document

This is a draft document on cancellation, changes and refunds, prepared for review by a lawyer.

It does not yet contain specific percentages, deduction amounts, refund deadlines or grounds for postponement: those are filled in after the travel partner's terms are received and applicable law is reviewed.

The site's terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights. Where a term conflicts with mandatory law, the law applies.

How to give notice of a cancellation or change

Give notice of a cancellation or change in writing: by email or WhatsApp to the organiser at +972 54-774-0884, or at any address named in the booking confirmation.

A phone call helps you get in touch quickly but does not replace written notice: the refund is calculated from the date the written notice is received.

The organiser's phone number is not the only way to cancel or raise an enquiry.

To be confirmed: the address and email for such notices, and the confirmation the participant receives in reply.

General refund procedure

The refund is calculated under the seller's terms, the cancellation date, the rules of the service providers and applicable law.

  • Notice: a written message from the participant.
  • Calculation: made individually for your booking.
  • Method of refund: the same method used for the payment, unless something else is agreed.
  • Deductions: only those provided for by the agreed terms or by the providers' rules.

To be confirmed: the refund deadline, the time allowed to review an enquiry, and who bears bank charges.

A refund cannot be ruled out in every circumstance: mandatory consumer rights remain.

Voluntary cancellation by the participant

The refund depends on the cancellation date and the terms of your booking. Before paying, ask for the written cancellation terms for your booking.

A payment does not become non-refundable automatically: nothing on this site says so.

  • To be confirmed: the cancellation scale by date before departure.
  • To be confirmed: the amount of any non-refundable payments and which services they cover.
  • To be confirmed: how the cancellation date is counted if the carrier changes the flight.

Illness or injury of the participant

Tell the organiser in writing as early as possible. The seller or a provider may ask for medical evidence, which then has to be provided.

Whether a refund or a postponement is possible depends on the booking terms and the providers' rules. Cover for cancellation on medical grounds depends only on the terms of your insurance policy.

Not holding personal insurance does not by itself end the participant's legal rights.

  • To be confirmed: which documents are accepted as evidence and by when.
  • To be confirmed: whether a postponement is possible instead of a refund, and at whose initiative.

Cancellation by the organiser

If the trip, or a substantial part of it, does not take place because the organisers decide so, participants are notified, and the amount paid for services not provided is to be refunded.

A postponement is offered as an alternative, not as a replacement for a refund.

Where a service is not provided by a separate provider, the calculation follows that provider's rules and is handled through the seller of the travel package.

  • To be confirmed: the minimum number of participants for the trip to take place.
  • To be confirmed: the notice period for cancellation and the refund deadline.
  • To be confirmed: who issues the refund, the seller of the travel package or the provider of the service.

Flight cancellation or rescheduling

Flights are operated by the carrier, and its rules determine what happens to the ticket: a refund, a date change or a voucher.

The organiser helps you find your way and get in touch with the carrier and the seller, but does not set the carrier's rules.

Costs linked to rebooking, a stay at the airport or extra transfers follow the carrier's rules and the booking terms.

If tickets are part of the travel package, the seller of the package determines the procedure.

  • To be confirmed: whether flights are part of the package or booked separately.
  • To be confirmed: who handles rebooking and who bears extra costs.

Airspace closure

If airspace is closed or flights are restricted, safety and current instructions from the authorities come before the trip schedule.

Whether a refund, a postponement or a partial refund is possible depends on the booking terms, the carrier's rules and applicable law.

An airspace closure by itself does not remove the participant's right to a refund of amounts paid for services not provided.

If the trip does not go ahead, we tell participants and agree a refund or a postponement together with the seller of the package.

  • To be confirmed: how the calculation works if part of the services has already been provided.
  • To be confirmed: the time allowed to review such enquiries.

War, government restrictions and emergencies

War, government decisions, epidemics and other emergencies are assessed individually: the date, the country, the restrictions in force and which services have already been provided all matter.

War-related events do not by themselves mean that money paid for services not provided is kept.

The exact consequences for a particular trip are determined by the partner's terms and applicable law, not by general wording on the site.

  • To be confirmed: how such circumstances are assessed under the partner agreement.
  • To be confirmed: whether alternative dates are offered and by when a reply is needed.

Substantial change to the programme

Small changes to the order and timing of events are possible for technical, weather or organisational reasons.

If a substantial part of what you paid for changes, the participant is offered an alternative, a postponement or a refund for the affected part of the services.

What counts as a substantial change is determined by the agreement with the seller of the travel package and by applicable law.

  • To be confirmed: the list of changes that count as substantial.
  • To be confirmed: how a refund for the affected part of the programme is calculated.

A provider failing to provide a service

If a particular service is not provided by a provider, the matter is handled through the seller of the travel package: a replacement service, a partial refund or a refund under the provider's rules.

The organiser helps you get in touch with the seller and the provider, but is not responsible for a service provided by another party beyond what the law provides.

An overseas provider's rules are not applied to the whole package automatically: each element of the package is assessed separately.

  • To be confirmed: how a service that was not provided is replaced.
  • To be confirmed: who calculates the refund for such a service and by when.

Unused services and early departure

If the participant leaves early or does not use some services, the price of unused services is usually not refunded, in line with the spa's and the carrier's rules.

This does not remove the right to ask for a recalculation: such an enquiry is reviewed individually.

The exact rules on deductions for unused services are set by the provider.

  • To be confirmed: which unused services can be recalculated.
  • To be confirmed: how early departure is arranged and whether a written request is needed.

Optional excursions

Excursions are a separate service for an extra charge, provided by an excursion provider.

The price and cancellation terms for an excursion are confirmed with the organiser before payment; the excursion pages currently show preliminary terms.

Cancelling an excursion does not affect the rest of the package: the trip and the programme continue.

  • To be confirmed: the deadline for cancelling an excursion without a deduction.
  • To be confirmed: what happens to a payment for an excursion if the trip does not take place.

What still has to be confirmed

Final terms can be published once the following are available for each case:

  • a cancellation scale by date and the deductions at each stage;
  • the list of non-refundable payments and the services they cover;
  • refund deadlines and who bears bank charges;
  • the grounds for offering a postponement and its terms;
  • the terms of the carrier, the spa and the excursion providers;
  • how enquiries are handled and the response time;
  • a lawyer's review for compliance with mandatory consumer protection rules in the participant's country.
