Each participant arranges personal insurance independently. This page explains what the participant is responsible for, what to check with the insurer and how safety works on site.
Status of this document
This is a draft document on insurance and safety, prepared for review by a lawyer.
The wording about insurance does not replace the terms of an individual policy: the rights and duties of the participant and the insurer are set by the policy and its rules.
The insurer, the cover and the price of a policy depend on the participant's country and on the participant's own choice.
Insurance is not included in the price
Travel insurance is not included in the price of the trip.
The organisers do not arrange or provide a personal insurance policy for participants.
Personal insurance is not sold on this site.
What the participant arranges
Each participant must arrange insurance independently and at their own expense for the whole period of the trip, including the days of departure and return.
The participant chooses the insurer and a suitable programme independently. We do not recommend a particular insurer.
Taking out the policy, paying the premium and checking the terms are the participant's tasks.
Information for the insurer and checking the policy
When taking out a policy, the participant gives the insurer accurate information, including health information the insurer asks for.
The participant checks the territory and the validity period of the policy, its limitations and exclusions, and whether the cover matches the planned activities.
Inaccurate information given when taking out a policy may affect a claim: the insurer decides this under its own rules.
What to check with the insurer
Check the cover with your insurer separately:
- medical care and hospitalisation;
- medical transport and repatriation;
- pre-existing conditions and their flare-ups;
- use of pools, saunas and spa areas;
- treatments prescribed at the spa;
- excursions and activities outside the spa;
A standard travel policy should not be assumed to cover planned spa treatment automatically.
Cover for cancellation and restrictions
Cover for trip cancellation, war-related events and related restrictions is determined solely by the terms of the individual policy.
The organisers do not sell such cover and do not influence the insurer's decision.
If cancellation cover matters to you, check this point before paying for the trip.
The organisers do not guarantee a payout
The organisers do not guarantee insurance cover or a payout.
On insurance matters the participant contacts the insurer: the decision on a claim is made by the insurance company.
Not holding a policy does not end the participant's legal rights towards the organisers and the providers.
Medical services and personal safety
The organisers of the music project do not provide medical services, do not prescribe treatment and do not guarantee a medical result. Medical consultations and treatments are provided by the relevant facility and its specialists.
The participant gives the medical specialist the information needed to prescribe treatments safely and follows medical advice and contraindications.
When using pools, saunas, spa areas, excursions and other facilities, the participant must follow the facility's rules, warnings and staff instructions. Equipment and areas closed to visitors must not be used, and activities must not be joined against the restrictions in place.
If something happens, contact the facility staff immediately, call the emergency services and your insurer where needed, and inform the organiser.
Responsibility for a particular incident is determined by applicable law and the circumstances. These terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
What we do not collect through the form
We do not collect diagnoses, medical questionnaires or copies of insurance policies through the enquiry form.
We also do not ask you to confirm that you hold a policy: it may not be taken out yet at the time of the enquiry.
Medical questions are discussed with the spa doctor and your own insurer, not through the form on the site.
Who to contact
For organisational and safety questions: the organiser's phone and WhatsApp, +972 54-774-0884.
If something happens on site, contact the facility staff first, then your insurer, and let the organiser know.
To be confirmed: the contact the spa provides for medical and urgent matters, and how to reach someone outside working hours.
What still has to be confirmed
The document can be approved once the following are available:
- the travel partner's requirements for participants' personal insurance;
- whether the spa needs policy or insurer details, and in what form;
- the list of activities that need separate cover;
- wording on medical treatments agreed with the spa;
- a lawyer's review so that the document does not release the organisers from liability for their own acts or omissions.
