Draft document. The data controller, the retention periods and the contact for data enquiries are to be confirmed by the site owner before publication.

This page explains what data the GIG FLY Festival site collects, why it is needed, who receives it and how to ask for it to be deleted.

Who is responsible for the data

Enquiries sent through the site are used by the trip organiser, who is responsible for handling this data.

Contact for data questions: the organiser's phone and WhatsApp, +972 54-774-0884.

To be confirmed: the legal name and address of the responsible party, and a separate email for data enquiries.

What data the site collects

The site stores only what you enter yourself:

  • your name;
  • a phone number or email;
  • a question or comment, if you wrote one;
  • the trip date and the excursion you chose in the site sections;
  • the type of accommodation, if you selected it in the enquiry window;
  • your consent to project news, if you gave it.

The date and time of sending are stored with the enquiry, along with the version of the documents in force at that moment.

Diagnoses, medical questionnaires and copies of insurance policies are not collected through the form.

Why the data is used

The data is used to contact you, answer your enquiry, clarify the terms of participation and discuss a booking.

If you separately ticked the box for news, the contact is also used for messages about the programme and dates. That consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn: after withdrawal, such messages stop.

The data is not used for third-party advertising.

Who receives the enquiries

The trip organiser, who answers enquiries, has access to them.

Enquiries are stored in the site's database, provided by the platform the site runs on. The platform processes the data as a technical infrastructure provider.

If you go on to arrange the trip, the data is shared with the travel partner handling the booking and, as far as necessary, with the service providers: accommodation, transfers, excursions.

Enquiries are not shared for advertising mailings or for selling data to third-party services.

To be confirmed: the exact list of recipients and the contractual basis for sharing data with partners.

Which services are used

The site is hosted on the Base44 platform, which provides hosting, the database for enquiries and the technical operation of the pages.

No separate mailing systems, advertising services or analytics systems are connected to the site.

To be confirmed: whether visitor analytics will be added, in which case this policy is updated before it goes live.

How long the data is kept

An enquiry is kept until the enquiry has been handled.

If a booking follows from an enquiry, the data is kept for as long as needed to arrange the trip and to meet the providers' requirements.

You can ask for your enquiry to be deleted at any time.

To be confirmed: the exact retention periods, how they are determined, and how long correspondence about enquiries is kept.

How to raise a data question

Write or call the organiser: phone and WhatsApp +972 54-774-0884.

You can ask what is stored about your enquiry, ask for an inaccuracy to be corrected, or ask for the data to be deleted.

Data enquiries are handled like organisational ones; we confirm the response time on receipt.

To be confirmed: a separate email for data requests and the response time for such requests.

Analytics and files in your browser

The site does not set advertising cookies and does not use web analytics systems.

Only the language you chose for the page is stored in your browser.

To be confirmed: if analytics or embedded third-party content are added, this section will be updated together with the policy.

What still has to be confirmed

Before the policy can be approved, the following are needed:

  • the legal entity responsible for processing the data, its address and registration details;
  • a separate email and, if required, a representative for data protection matters;
  • exact retention periods for enquiries and correspondence;
  • the list of recipients and the contractual documents with the travel partner and the platform;
  • the site owner's decision on adding visitor analytics;
  • a lawyer's review, particularly for participants from Israel and the EU.
